Christian Education Classes resume on September 11th at 9:00 am. Primary and Youth Classes meet in the Education Wing. Adult Classes will meet in the Fireside Room.
Our Worship Service returns to it’s normal time of 10:15 am beginning on September 11th.
The office of Morning Prayer from Evangelical Lutheran Worship is used. A quiet, simple spoken service is centered on psalms, scripture, medication and intercessory prayer. Please see the September Parish Helper for additional details.
Each week from the end of August through October Emmanuel will be collecting items for school kits. Our goal is to provide 48 kits for Lutheran World Relief. Please see the Parish Helper or the display in the Narthex for details and items we are collecting.
There will be a coffee fellowship hour immediately following the service on June 5th, 2016. Please sign-up to donate goodies in the Narthex.
Beginning May 29, 2016 Summer Worship will take place at 9:00 AM. There is no Sunday School during the summer months but SPARK will continue.

The Heritage Chorale of Lancaster, directed by Barry L. Sawyer and accompanied by our own Anne L. Lefever will perform their Spring Choral Program entitled “What a Morning” at Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Sunday, April 24th at 4:00 PM. This year’s Baskets of Promise for Lutheran World Relief were assembled on Sunday April 3rd, and received a Blessing on April 10th by Pastor Strause. Emmanuel received donations to make a total of 48 personal care kits – exceeding our goal to make 24 this year.

Each Wednesday during the season of Lent we gather for a simple soup supper and an opportunity to grow in our Christian faith through study and discussion. The evening begins at 6:00 PM with supper and ends with Evening Prayer around 7:30 p.m.
