Christian Education Classes resume 9/11 at 9:00 am
Christian Education Classes resume on September 11th at 9:00 am. Primary and Youth Classes meet in the Education Wing. Adult Classes will meet in the Fireside Room.
Worship Service Resumes at 10:15 am – 9/11
Our Worship Service returns to it’s normal time of 10:15 am beginning on September 11th.
Wednesday Prayer and Bible Study Begins 9/7
The office of Morning Prayer from Evangelical Lutheran Worship is used. A quiet, simple spoken service is centered on psalms, scripture, medication and intercessory prayer. Please see the September Parish Helper for additional details.
Ingathering Sunday – Baskets of Promise – 10/2
Each week from the end of August through October Emmanuel will be collecting items for school kits. Our goal is to provide 48 kits for Lutheran World Relief. Please see the Parish Helper or the display in the Narthex for details and items we are collecting.
Recognition of Graduates/Coffee Fellowship Hour 6/5
There will be a coffee fellowship hour immediately following the service on June 5th, 2016. Please sign-up to donate goodies in the Narthex.
Summer Worship Begins 5/29
Beginning May 29, 2016 Summer Worship will take place at 9:00 AM. There is no Sunday School during the summer months but SPARK will continue.
Congregational Meeting – 5/22

Heritage Chorale Concert – 4/24, 4:00 PM
The Heritage Chorale of Lancaster, directed by Barry L. Sawyer and accompanied by our own Anne L. Baskets of Promise Blessed on 4/10
This year’s Baskets of Promise for Lutheran World Relief were assembled on Sunday April 3rd, and received a Blessing on April 10th by Pastor Strause. Emmanuel received donations to make a total of 48 personal care kits – exceeding our goal to make 24 this year.
Newly Baptized – 4/10
“Child of God, you have been sealed by the Holy Spirit and marked with the cross of Christ forever.” Deyana Monette Cameron Ponzo, daughter of Danielle Cameron and Shannon Ponzo, was Baptized through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on Sunday, April 3, 2016.

Soup Supper & Study begins 2/17
Each Wednesday during the season of Lent we gather for a simple soup supper and an opportunity to grow in our Christian faith through study and discussion. The evening begins at 6:00 PM with supper and ends with Evening Prayer around 7:30 p.m.
