Each Wednesday in Lent we will gather for a simple fellowship meal of soup and bread. Study this year will focus on Jesus “I Am” statements from the Gospel of John. See the Parish Helper for more information.
Throughout the season of Lent we will be collecting items to assemble 50 Personal Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief. Please see the February Parish Helper for more information.

The Annual Congregational Meeting will be held Sunday, January 28th immediately following the morning worship service. See the Parish Helper for additional details.
The Nativity of Our Lord, Festival Liturgy of Holy Communion and Candlelight will be held Sunday, December 24th at 7:00 PM. Please see the Parish Helper for more information. NOTE – There is only one service on Christmas Eve.
Greens will be hung in the church on Sunday, December 17th immediately following the morning worship service. Come and help get the church ready for the celebration of Christmas. Everyone is invited!
We need volunteers to deliver one or two baskets each to those persons not able to come to church. Delivery takes place after the worship service on December 17th. Please speak to Deb Barrett if you are able to help deliver baskets.
The Harvest Dinner will be held Sunday, November 19th, 5:30 p.m. Please bring a covered main dish or dessert. Admission is one item for the local food bank. Christian Education Classes will resume Sunday, September 10th at 9:00 AM.
Our Worship Service will return to 10:15 AM on September 10, 2017.
Each week from the end of August through October, Emmanuel will be collecting needed items for school kits. Our goal is to provide 100 school kits for LWR. Please see the specifics located in the July/August Parish Helper.
Please mark your calendars that the Summer Worship Service time will change from 10:15 to 9:00 AM beginning June 11th. No Sunday School is held during the summer months.
Help support the Youth Mission Trip by supporting the Election Day Bake Sale or buying S.C. Weaver subs. Order forms are available in the May issue of the Parish Helper. Donations as well as help the day of the sale is needed! Sign-up sheets are located at the rear of the Sanctuary.
