Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Lancaster is a community of Lutheran Christians located in the historic and beautiful West End of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  

We are a congregation of the Lower Susquehanna Synod and a companion congregation with Mbalizi Lutheran Church in Mbeya, Tanzania, a congregation of the Konde Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania. 

Our congregation has been here since 1888, serving Christ and the community for over a hundred and twenty-five years.

Worship Service time: Sunday Mornings at 10:30 a.m., starting Sunday, September 4, 2022.   

Holy Communion is served every Sunday Morning.

Congregational Meeting: Sunday, May 22nd, at 11:40 a.m., following the 10:30 worship service.

Christian Education:  Adult Sunday School will begin a six-week course, September 11 – October 16, in the Fireside Room starting at 9:15 a.m. The study is titled: Short Stories by Jesus. This DVD study presented by Amy Jill Levine will be led by Keith Fry.
