In-Person Worship & Covid Restrictions:
IMPORTANT Worship Update:
The Church Council has taken action to resume mask-wearing effective August 8, 2021 during worship given the recent CDC recommendation that all people – whether they are vaccinated or not – should wear masks while indoors in a public setting. We have not taken this action lightly. This action was taken with the understanding that we must remain flexible with these ever changing mandates during this ongoing pandemic and that it is our responsibility to assure the safety and love of all.
As we gather, we will:
- Wear masks
- Be socially distanced in pews
- Not be singing
- Leave one pew at a time beginning in the rear of the sanctuary
- Gather for conversation outdoors
We will celebrate Holy Communion weekly. As you enter the sanctuary you will receive a worship booklet and bulletin and a pre-packaged communion cup and wafer which will be used at the appropriate time in our service.
It remains up to each member to decide when it is appropriate to return to worship. We believe that by using the precautions mentioned above we are creating an atmosphere that is as safe as it can be for us to gather in-person for worship.
Christian Education: Christian Education Classes will resume in the fall.
